Funny Things We Are
I sit and watch on as hundreds pass.
Pass busily on their way,
destinations of work and appointments, uni and other things,
passing strangers different and alike,
some sharing a common journey,
others on their way in the opposite direction.
But they don't talk, they don't know that person,
sometimes you're lucky if you get a smile.
Humans... funny things we are.
